- Creating a Model of Sustainable Governance Around the network
Akroma is a cryptocurrency and application development platform that focuses on modeling governance that will reward long-term sustainable development and design.
Akroma focuses on finding solutions to two key issues facing a decentralized application development platform. The first is to create a sustainable governance model around this new network that avoids the trap allocation of genesis block, pre-mining and ICO fund raising as all of these methods encourage initial founders and adopters to "pump and throw" and move on to the next project .
Using the lessons learned from Dash, ZCash, BitShares, and EOS, we believe that we can build a governance model that supports long-term sustainability for the Akroma project, while respecting early users.
With a sustainable governance model, we can focus our efforts on the often underrepresented field of cryptocurrency projects, including: design, usability, adoption, and application development.
Masternodes
Masternodes are the common second-tier solution for adding features to a blockchain-based network. The Akroma project intends to use this layer of masternodes to support developers and development-related features. These features often require greater levels of computing, storage, or availability. Thus, the incentive system has been built into the core Akroma protocol that rewards those who host the server masternode with AKA.
Masternodes help protect and scale Acroma networks by validating transactions and acting as decentralized incentives. Running a method is rewarded with an Akroma.
The masternode layer will provide the foundation of additional features on the Akroma network.
The Oracles are decentralized
Oracles is a system that provides data for smart contracts. The purpose of the oracle network is to develop features that can be trusted by smart contract developers to access the results of data provided to them as it often becomes a catalyst for token transfers.
Oracle is a very new concept and there are several ways to implement Oracles. Oraclize and ChainLink are two unique implementations. As we develop the oracle Akroma offering, we expect both to be seen as competitors and also compatible with the Akroma project.
Technology
Akroma is a fork implementation implementation of the Ethereum protocol. This is a fork in the sense that it uses the same codebase; not the same ledger. The acroma is Ethereum because Litecoin is Bitcoin.
Development on a decentralized platform is growing rapidly. When developers are looking to build their applications without the side effects of network congestion there are several options that arise.
The first option is to build "beside" the network you created your app. The second option is to consider a new platform that promises better stability. The third option is the choice taken by the Akroma team; stand your own network, and make it public.

All of the tools that developers use can be used in Akroma.
Sustainable Government
The Akroma governance model focuses on creating a sustainable application development platform while contributing back to the larger community.
Main feature:
- Interoperability
- No major protocol changes
- Continuous integration of upstream changes
- Focus on UX (user experience)
- Consumer over the Company
Roadmap
The Akroma roadmap is included to provide a rough estimate of what the Akroma core team will do, what we found to be a priority. Please expect this customized roadmap, we do.
